青年癌症服务项目通过“Canteen”组织获得联邦资金支持，同时还获得各州和领地政府的资金支持，为15至25岁的年轻癌症患者提供专业且符合其年龄特点的治疗和支持。
青年癌症服务由五家核心医院提供，这些医院与遍布全澳的25多家医院组成的网络相连。 每个服务点都拥有一支由医生和医疗专业人员组成的多学科专家团队，他们在治疗和照护患有各种不同癌症的青少年方面经验丰富。每一位青少年癌症患者均可获得青少年癌症服务，并得到最优质且适合其年龄的医疗、护理及心理社会支持。
