Family Connections Program
A family-focused early intervention program helping young people aged 15-24 and their families resolve conflict and reduce the risk of youth homelessness.
The Family Connections Program is a collaborative initiative between Conflict Resolution Service and Multicultural Hub Canberra that supports young people and their families to improve family functioning and reduce the risk of youth homelessness. It uses trauma-informed, youth-empowering and family-centred practices, with a particular (but not exclusive) focus on multicultural communities. Support includes family counselling, mediation, therapeutic case management, mental health service connections, parenting coaching and psychoeducation on adolescent development.
