Peer CARE Companion Warmline

Free, non-crisis callback peer support for adults 18+ with lived experience of suicide.

The Peer CARE Companion Warmline is a free, non-crisis callback service for adults 18+ with lived experience of suicide.

It provides an opportunity to connect with a trained and supported Peer CARE Companion who has their own lived experience of suicide, in a space grounded in compassion, understanding and respect.

People can talk, be heard and explore what is happening with someone who understands through meaningful shared experience. Peer CARE Companions can also help people consider coping strategies and connect with other supports or resources where helpful.

Callback requests can be made 24 hours a day, with a Peer CARE Companion returning the call within 24 hours. Call 1800 77 PEER (1800 77 7337) or request a callback online.

The Warmline is not a crisis line and Peer CARE Companions do not provide counselling or clinical advice.
