Menslink in Schools
Free in-school presentations and workshops helping young men in Years 5-12 build resilience, mental fitness and help-seeking skills.
Menslink in Schools delivers interactive, male-facilitated presentations and workshops across Canberra, Queanbeyan and Yass to students in Years 5-12: Silence is Deadly (a 1-hour presentation tackling the stigma around young men talking about mental health), UNPLUGGED (a session on technology/media use and wellbeing), and TRIBE (an 8-week experiential leadership program for small groups of peer leaders). Programs are provided to schools at no cost and are distinct from Menslink's one-on-one Youth Mentoring and Youth Counselling services.
